Kaliningrad: the contractor for the construction of the cancer center received the second case

A criminal case of fraud has been instituted to the management of the contractor for the construction of an oncost in Kaliningrad-LLC Artel, the regional prosecutor’s office said .

The case was instituted in part 4 of Article 159, that is, the accused is suspected of fraud on an especially large scale, committed by a group of persons. The department has clarified that the case was initiated by the head and "other persons."

According to the investigation, at the Callest Country, the company "Artel" was 107 million rubles, which were transferred from the budget for the construction of the cancer center. The leadership of Artel tried to transfer this money to the accounts of affiliated persons not related to construction. The court imposed them arrest.

Earlier, the head of the company "SMU Artel" Oleg Bondarenko was detained. This company, according to the governor of the region Anton Alikhanov, is associated with the general contractor - LLC Artel. The cost of the contract for the construction of the cancer center is 4.2 billion rubles, it was concluded in October 2018. The contract with "Artel" was terminated on December 24, 2019 due to non-compliance with the construction time. The company's accounts are arrested . The construction of a medical institution will end no earlier than the first half of 2021.
