The Governor of the Primorsky Territory Oleg Kozhemyako stated that the start of the reform on the treatment of solid municipal waste in the region was practically failed, the press service of the regional government said .

The words of the governor were heard during a specialized meeting in the regional government. "The regional operator did not prepare garbage collection routes, contests were thoughtlessly held on the choice of transport companies, container platforms were not created, the base of subscribers was not specified - all this led to the fair discontent of the residents of Primorye," Kozhemyako said.

To solve the problem, the official promised to send additional funds for the purchase of equipment, including for Vladivostok, as well as help municipalities with equipment of container sites.
