The musicians demanded to investigate the torture in the "Network"

On February 26, Dolphin, Kira Lao, “Caste”, IC3PEAK, Anacondaz, “Porn Films”, “Red Banner Division of my grandmother”, “Hadn Dadn” and other Russian musicians made a statement that demanded to revise the verdict in the “Network” case and investigate information about the torture of his persons involved.

The statement published by the Poster Daily was signed by 150 people, the collection of signatures will be long ago.

“The musicians in Russia were often accused of apoliticality, of unpreparedness for a direct statement. So it was before, it should not be now, ”the statement said.

It ends with the words: “The verdict, to which there are too many questions, need to be reviewed. And information about torture should be carefully investigated. ”

On February 10, a verdict in the case of the “Terrorist Community“ Network ”was announced in the Penza Regional Court. Seven people in this case were convicted of the terms of 6 to 18 years of the colony, they declared torture applied to them during the investigation.

The verdict caused a large public resonance, in support of convicts, in particular, scientists , filmmakers , owners of independent bookstores , theater figures , and representatives of the Russian art community , performed. More than a hundred writers, journalists and other cultural figures and public figures turned to Russian political prisoners with a letter of solidarity.
