From the Russian version of the cartoon “Forward” the production of Disney and Pixar removed the mention of the character’s homosexuality, the Kinopoisk reports .

According to the audience, who had already watched the film before his release in Russian dubbing, when the police character discusses the relationship with his girlfriend with another hero, the word “girl” was replaced with a neutral “partner”. So the Russian branch of Disney decided to avoid problems with showing the picture.

The premiere of the Cartoon “Forward” in Russia is scheduled for March 5. The day before, State Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov said that he intends to contact the Ministry of Culture demanding that the picture output in Russia due to the “propaganda of homosexuality”.
