In addition, new rules will turn into serious costs for restaurateurs. At the same time, according to restaurateurs, some of the new requirements of Rospotrebnadzor coincide with conventional sanitary requirements. And many companies are accustomed to take antiviral measures without instructions in the department in influenza seasons.

“Every year, companies send all [employees] to vaccinate, stock up with antivirus drugs, monitor who is sick and who is not. In institutions, they begin to clean and ventilate the rooms more often. This is not regulated anywhere, but everyone is already introducing additional measures, because otherwise their business will incur losses, ”says Igor Bukharov, president of the Federation of restaurateurs and hoteliers.

Rospotrebnadzor, together with the Federal Medical and Biological Agency (FMBA), put forward similar requirements for retail networks. For disinfection, there are also enough dishes for a conventional dishwasher. However, the effectiveness of wearing masks, in the form in which measures are spelled out in the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor, are called into question.

As soon as the mask becomes wet with breathing, it immediately becomes a conductor [for the virus]. So far, the requirements, however, are not something more than the recommendations to “increase vigilance”.
