In the Novosibirsk region, police detained two participants in pickets against changes to the Constitution

In the Suzunsky district of the Novosibirsk region, the police detained two participants in one-man pickets against amendments to the Constitution. This is reported by the publication "Taiga.info" with reference to representatives of the regional branch of the Communist Party.

The police detained the first secretary of the Suzun district committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Petr Ivakhnenko, and another picket participant, whose name was not disclosed.

According to the publication, during a series of single pickets with the slogan "No to Putin's amendments to the Constitution," the head of Suzun, Alexander Lamanov, told the protesters that the action was illegal. After that, he called the police, who detained two picketers.

Explanations were taken from the detainees and they were released from the police department without protocols. According to Taiga.info, the day after the pickets, Ivakhnenko was invited to the district administration, where they discussed with him the organization of "special sites" for protests.
