Two more protesters in Ingushetia were sentenced to imprisonment in a colony settlement

to deprivation of liberty in a penal settlement On February 28, the Zheleznovodsk City Court of the Stavropol Territory sentenced Amir Oskanov and Ruslan Dzeytov . This was reported by the Human Rights Center "Memorial".

Both were found guilty under the article on the use of violence against a representative of the authorities (part 1 of article 318 of the Criminal Code). Amir Oskanov was sentenced to a year and eleven months in a colony-settlement, Ruslan Dzeytov to a year and nine months. Oskanov received the longest sentence of all those sentenced in this case to date.

Amir Oskanov admitted that during the protest he threw a chair and a bottle at the National Guard, but did not hit anyone.

Ruslan Dzeytov, according to investigators, hit Morozov on the leg several times, but the medical examination did not reveal any injuries to Morozov. The prosecutor asked that Dzeitov be sentenced to one and a half years in prison in a penal colony, the lawyer - to impose a fine on him and drop the case.

Thus, as of February 28, participants in the protests against the transfer of part of the Ingush lands to Chechnya received 21 sentences.
