Permanent representatives of Belgium, Germany, France and Estonia at the UN Security Council condemned the attacks of the Turkish military in the Syrian Idlib. On February 27, 33 people were killed as a result of the strike of the Syrian Air Force.

The constant representative of the United States at the UN Kelly Kraft demanded that Russia "immediately put its military aircraft." According to her, the United States should “play a key role” in resolving the conflict.

The Permanent Representative of Russia at the UN Vasily Nevenzha said that the Syrian army has the right to respond to terrorists leading shelling from the province. The Russian Ministry of Defense claims that the dead Turkish military were among the militants.
