The United States and the Afghan movement "Taliban" (prohibited) signed an agreement on the world and the withdrawal of American troops, reports Reuters.

The agreement should launch a resolution of the conflict, which has been going on for 20 years. The United States and its NATO mission partners in Afghanistan will reduce their military contingent to 8.6 thousand people over 135 days.
The troops must be withdrawn in full for 14 months - provided that the Taliban will comply with the terms of the agreement.
The United States and Taliban have discussed a peace agreement since 2018. Back in September 2019, US President Donald Trump said that these negotiations are “dead”.
