In Astrakhan, a case was opened against a teacher for corrupting a ninth-grader

In Astrakhan, a criminal case was opened against a teacher for the corruption of her student, according to the website of the regional department of the Investigative Committee.

The case was opened under Part 1 of Article 135 of the Criminal Code (committing indecent acts without the use of violence by a person who has reached the age of eighteen against a person under the age of sixteen). According to investigators, from September 2019 to February 2020, the suspect committed indecent acts against the teenager.

Earlier in early February, the mother of one of the students at school No. 32 told the local publication “Astrakhan FM” that the teacher “entered into an intimate relationship” with a ninth-grader, and the whole school was discussing the video with them. After publications in the press, the Investigative Committee began an investigation.

On February 11, the press service of the city administration reported that the teacher and the school director resigned of their own free will.
