Seversk: Director from Moscow will shoot a fairy tale film about the city of childhood

A native of Tomsk, screenwriter and director Alena Zvantsova plans to make a full-length film-tale of a closed city. His prototype will become Seversk in which she lived in childhood. Zvantsova received the approval of the producers and began to write a script, the RIA Tomsk publication reported .

As a screenwriter and director Zvvtsova, she took part in the filming of more than 30 films and series. In Seversk, she lived from four to 16 years old.

“Whoever lived in childhood, then he was dragging into cinema. Here Fellini dragged the Amarkord, I try to pull, of course, the reality in which I lived. And then, this is completely amazing reality - to anyone else who did not live in a city as Seversk, it is incomprehensible,” Zvantsova said.

Zvantsova decided to make a film tale for adults. The plot is associated with the movement of an entire city in time, in a distant era.

She added that the producers liked the application, and she was asked to write a piece of the script to evaluate the potential of history. If the producers like everything, then the film will appear on the screens in a few years.

Seversk is a regime city and it is impossible to shoot in it. Therefore, the director is looking for places for filming in the suburbs, but so far I have not been able to find anything suitable.
