Russian deputies voted this morning to amend the Constitution. And then the bill approved the Federation Council. Now the word is for citizens of Russia. The popular vote is scheduled for April 22. In Moscow and St. Petersburg, single pickets were held against amendments and zeroing of the deadlines of Vladimir Putin. A group of public activists also submitted applications for a rally. But the authorities of the capital forbade mass events in the city, including rallies, numbering more than five thousand people. Such measures were explained by the struggle against coronavirus.
