The Kirovsky District Court of Ufa has extended the arrest of Azat Lukmanov, a defendant in the Hizb ut-Tahrir case, until May 14. This is reported by "Parental Solidarity".
Lukmanov is charged under the article on participation in a terrorist organization (part 2 of article 205.5 of the Criminal Code). The defendant pleads not guilty.
According to the Information and Analytical Center SOVA, Lukmanov was detained on November 19, 2019 at his place of work - in a company for the repair of household appliances. Several other people were arrested along with him. Later, the accused was poisoned in SIZO No. 1 in Ufa.
At the same time, in 2008, Lukmanov was sentenced to eight months in prison under the article on organizing an extremist organization (part 1 of article 282.2 of the Criminal Code), and in 2010 they were given two years in prison under the same article. Then he was also tried for involvement in Hizb ut-Tahrir.
