
In the village of Ust-Uda, the Irkutsk region, seven people died in a private house, including four children. All of them suffocated with carbon monoxide. Doctors could not save them, reports the regional department of the Ministry of Emergencies.
The fire began late at night. When rescuers drove up to the house, only the veranda burned. People in an unconscious state began to be taken out into the street.
"He was an urgent help, a heart and leak resuscitation was carried out before the arrival of the ambulance. Children were taken to the Ust-Udin Central District Hospital, where, despite the efforts of the doctors, they died," the press service of the Ministry of Emergencies in the Irkutsk region said.
Among the victims are three young people: a guy and two girls, as well as four children. The family was registered as a dysfunctional, it was checked more than once.
“In January of this year, a conversation was held with the residents of the house, an autonomous fire detector was installed. He, by the way, worked and gave a signal at the time of the arrival of firefighters. Why the adults did not react on him in a timely manner and did not take actions to rescue during the audit,” said Viktor Pashkov, deputy chief state inspector of the region for fire brigade.
