In the Moscow region, a ban on holding public events of any number due to coronavirus was introduced. The governor of the subject Andrei Vorobyov reported this on his Instagram.
“Together with the Moscow Mayoria, we tightened the requirements for mass events. Previously, there were up to 5 thousand people, now we have radically reduced: all mass events involving more than 50 people are prohibited, ”the governor said.
The Decree of the Government of the Moscow Region states that until April 10, any sports, physical, spectacular, public and other mass events are prohibited.
The official also emphasized that significant restrictions will affect "theaters, cinema, and sporting events." Since March 17, such events with the participation of more than 50 people have been prohibited at a time.

The "leisure" events with the number of participants of less than 50 people will need to be notified by the Office of Rospotrebnadzor in the Moscow Region.
The heading and text of the news have been changed: earlier we mistakenly wrote that public events with more than 50 people are prohibited, but any public events were banned on the territory of the Ministry of Defense
