Students visited Sibantracite

Students got acquainted with the organization of work at the production facilities of Siberian Anthracite JSC and met with the leadership.

“It is better to see once than to hear a hundred times”, “Sibantracite” - a company of opportunities ”,“ We ​​want to come to summer practice and then work here ”, students of the Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technologies (Suggit) share their impressions.

This year, signs can choose the profile - “Open Mining”, which is adapted to the specifics of the Sibantracite group as part of the educational project for the training for the mining industry. A visit to the company helped to decide on the choice.

In the future, such visits are planned to be held regularly. 32 second-year students came to the first meeting.

At the beginning of the event, they met with the company's management. Katerina Bosov, member of the board of directors and commercial director of Sibantracite UK LLC, spoke about the company, its assets, unique products, new infrastructure projects and development prospects. Sibantracite occupies the first place in the world for the extraction and export of high -quality anthracite - the most environmentally friendly type of coal, and is also the largest manufacturer of metallurgical coal in Russia. Natalya Grechishcheva, HR Director of Siberian Anthracite JSC, emphasized that Sibantracite is a reliable and socially responsible employer. During an excursion to the enterprise, students got acquainted with the organization of work on the Kolyvan coal context, visited a modern carbon laboratory and enrichment factories, talked with employees of different departments.
