The Penza prosecutor’s office recognized the police to allow lawyers to allow the detained activists who came to announce the verdict to the defendants in the case of the “network”. This was reported by "7x7" with reference to the lawyer Stanislav Fomenko.
The department said that the lawyers allegedly did not turn to the duty officer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, while the activists were inside (from 23:00 to 01:00), and the detainees themselves did not ask to call specific defenders to them.
Also, the prosecutor’s office added that in two hours 12 appeals were received in the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the detention of activists. However, none of them had information confirming the absence of police officers at the workplace, the failure to renounce calls and the disabilities of lawyers to the detainees.
February 12 - the day after the sentence announced the persons to the defendants of the case of the “network” - at the Penza railway station, Anna Loiko, Sergey Zapolova, Nikolai Sokolova and Olga Misik were detained . The police said that they had “oral orientation”, they are supposedly suspected of applying drawings to the walls. For several hours, lawyers were not allowed into the department to the detainees. As a result, Sergey Zapolov drew up a protocol under Art. 7.17 Code of Administrative Offenses (destruction or damage to other people's property).
