- Let, let it go, infection, I'm late!
A woman in a red jacket, disheveled, red, without a medical mask - what a mask is there! - The last time it pushes a similar jacket in the back, which was the last in the door of a stuffed minibus driving from the Nivka metro station to the city center (this is quite far, six stops, if an underground!), And gives up hands. Maybe it will be possible to get into the trolleybus ... It is not visible, and people arrive with every minute, line up in the "tail". Someone offers to immediately divide by dozens.
According to the order of the city administration, which, in turn, fulfills the will of the president and the government, drivers should take no more than ten passengers in route taxi, and only those who are in masks, and to trolleybuses, buses and trams - no more than twenty. The implementation of this security rule is ordered to monitor the sanitary service and the police. On the final one, on Daniil Shcherbakivsky Street, where I am, there are neither those nor others. And drivers prefer not to contact an irritated audience, which not only breathes each other in the face, but also loudly exchanges considerations about the rationality of the measure undertaken by power.
The number of ground transport on routes is not increased. The most tolerant of the statements: "They have a car under their back, and we are tormented!"
In general, at eight in the morning of March 18 in Kyiv it seems that only the strongest leave with ground transport, and the queues gather unprecedented. The metro closed the day before at 23.00. Now behind his glass doors is quiet and dark.
I walk along the Victory Avenue towards the Center. The machine gun is becoming denser, and closer to the shuliak, the pulling is plugged with a deaf traffic jam. Minibuses with trolleybuses, where the happy rivals and rivals of a woman in a red jacket, are also a guarantee, will also be late everywhere where they were in a hurry. I look at the go of the photo, which I really promptly set the news “Kyiv Operational” - a resource dedicated to an emergency and accident.
The capital was covered by a transport collapse. It looks especially harsh on the left bank of the Dnieper, on the porches to the bridges.
There are no additional routes or additional buses and trolley buses yet.

Sharp plots of the "Besimeter" chronicle appear. The law -abiding driver of a route taxi himself tied a gauze mask and demanded the same from others, and the eleventh passenger blocked the path: “You can’t!” The forces were unequal, people tried to break the doors. The driver called the police, who arrived instantly, detained the instigators, drew up protocols - they, according to the well -known “quarantine” resolution of the Cabinet, are now threatening large fines. The minibus left, accompanied by the promises of those who remained in line, remember the driver, "and put your murderer on the roof." In the afternoon, I heard an interview with one of the officials of the police of Kyiv according to the “communal” radio, he explained to the journalist with an exhausted voice:
“Understand this is unrealistic to put a policeman at each stop of ground transport in Kyiv! Well, nonsense at all! Who then will fight crime? "
On the evening of March 18, the Secretary of the Kyiv City Council Vladimir Prokopov recorded the video: “The local authorities are developing special meters - a plan for the launch of the capital's metro in limited mode. The present day has shown how much it is necessary. We will ask the Cabinet of Ministers to make changes to the resolution, and we need the decision of the City Council regarding the payment of this passage. ” (A one -time trip to the metro now costs 8 hryvnias, that is, more than 23 rubles at the rate; the cost of the service, apparently, intends to raise.)
Propying said that the medical staff of many metropolitan hospitals, and this is the very critical infrastructure, which cannot be dispensed with in life, gets to work from the outskirts, or even from the villages of the region. For them, such a test is excessive - people will quit, and then the epidemic will be complicated by another problem. The deputies of the Kyiv Council are now preparing a program for the Kyivpasstens communal enterprise in order to bring health workers home after shifts and pick up in the morning, but for now - at least the metro ...

However, the mayor Vladimir Klitschko has already denied the words of Prokopiv: “Applications about the possibility of resuming the work of the metro are the private opinion of individual officials. These officials are not responsible for the work of the transport industry of the capital. ” Klitschko recalled that in a situation of the forced stopping of the subway (so far until April 3), the capital's power creates routes that duplicate the directions of the metro branches, launches shuttle, but so far they are not enough, it will be necessary to suffer and not be freak out.
“Anyway, such a way out is the best. One of the recommendations of international experts, our colleagues from Ujan is the restriction of social contacts, ”the mayor concluded.
The new prime minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal holds the same opinion: at the state level of revision of the decision, there will be no regarding the subway. “Two million people use the metro in Ukraine daily ( except for Kiev, the underground message Kharkov and the Dnieper. - O. M. ). In European countries, where the metro has not been closed on time, today a significant spread of the disease among the population is noticeable, ”the prime minister said at an open meeting of the government.
On March 19, it was not particularly different from the 18th in the degree of intensity of transport passions. In the city of Fastov, people blocked the railway, demanding to let the train to Kyiv: "How to get to work?!" According to RBC-Ukraine, the lines at some bus stops reach 100 meters, the waiting for those who want to leave lasts two to three hours. Sometimes cars are stormed, and the police are trying to restrain passengers and still divide into dozens.
