In the high-Petrovsky monastery, a procession with prayer chants was held for the second time to protect Moscow and all of Russia from coronavirus infection. After the main service, the abbot and several monks passed through the territory of the monastery, three times sprinkled with water of those present (mainly journalists) and the surrounding space. Then the procession of the procession went to the gate of the monastery, which reached Petrovsky Boulevard, and returned back to the roof.

On March 18, the monks of the same monastery already made a procession along the nearby streets, but then the procession, according to them, attracted too much attention ( and this violates quarantine restrictions introduced by the Moscow Mayoria. - Ed. ).

Law enforcement agencies opposed the church action in the previous format. Therefore, today the monks decided to do with a “mini-version”.
