The closure of the gymnasium for quarantine became known on March 13. “From today to March 21 inclusive, full-time classes have been canceled in the gymnasium, we are moving into the online lessons format,” announced the director of the Maya Misuradze institution in his video message. “This is an additional security measure due to the fact that one of the parents of our gymnasium is in the hospital with suspicion of coronavirus.”

On the same day, the administration of the institution reported that the result of the analysis of one of the parents has the status of “dubious”. The gymnasium promised to get an accurate answer from the Vector Novosibirsk laboratory until the end of the day, “convincingly” asking parents and gymnasium students “refrain from any commentary to any media”.

The next day, a message appeared in the official telegram channel of the gymnasium that a re-analysis of one of the parents is “positive”, it is in boxing under the supervision of doctors. A similar result was shown by the analyzes of the rest of the family of the sick. “Children and adults feel good, there are no clinical signs. Analyzes of classmates and examined family members have the status of “negative”, ”said the administration of the gymnasium.
