"According to the picketer, the amendments to the Basic Law are aimed at even more usurpation of power in the hands of one person and will ultimately lead to the civil war and the collapse of the country," the group said.

The Communist Party reported that local residents passing by the picketer "expressed their consent with slogans on posters - they are outraged by the prospect of the actually lifelong administration of the country of Putin."
