Abubakarov clarified that during the meeting on March 19, 2020, when the preventive measure was extended for the leaders of the protests in Ingushetia, neither the prosecutor nor the judge reacted to the statements of Malsagov and Chemurziev. “This is a common practice. When a new person enters the pre-trial detention center, he is sent to quarantine, but they cannot keep them in the same room with infectious patients according to the Federal Law “On the Detention of Suspects and Accuseds”. This violates the rights of those arrested and puts their lives and health in danger,” added the lawyer.
