The Southern District Military Court extended until May 15 the arrest of Server Mustafayev. This is reported by "Crimea. Realii” with reference to the lawyer Mustafayev. The defense pointed to medical arguments about the impossibility of keeping their client in custody.
On March 19, Mustafayev's health deteriorated , his body temperature rose from 37.6 to 39.3, he had a dry cough, severe headache, and weakness throughout his body.
- The second Bakhchisaray case of Hizb ut-Tahrir was initiated in October 2017. Marlen Asanov, Timur Ibragimov and Memet Belyalov are accused of organizing the activities of a terrorist organization (1st part of Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code), Server Zekiryaev, Ernes Ametov, Server Mustafaev, Edem Smailov and Seyran Saliev of participating in the activities of a terrorist organization (2nd part Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code). In addition, all of them are accused of preparing for a violent seizure of power (Article 278 of the Criminal Code with the application of the 1st part of Article 30 of the Criminal Code), and Seyran Saliyev is also accused of publicly justifying terrorist activities (Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code). Most of the defendants in this case are activists of Crimean Solidarity, a public movement in support of the persecuted Crimean Tatars.
- Hizb ut-Tahrir is recognized as a terrorist organization in Russia. In this regard, criminal cases are initiated in different regions of the country, while the defendants are sentenced to various terms in a strict regime colony only on the basis that they met in apartments, read religious literature and spread their ideas. According to a number of experts, Hizb ut-Tahrir was unlawfully recognized as a terrorist organization, since its members in Russia did not prepare or carry out terrorist acts.
