In Kaliningrad, a participant in a flash mob in defense of old German hangars was summoned for a conversation with the prosecutor's office

In Kaliningrad, activist Sergei Dustin, who participated in a flash mob in defense of German hangars on the Baltic Spit, was summoned to the prosecutor's office for a conversation. This is reported by the publication "North. Realities".

The prosecutor's assistant asked Dustin questions about the organization of an uncoordinated rally on the Baltic Spit. Dustin said that only the court can determine whether the action was a rally or not. Dustin declined to comment further, exercising his right not to incriminate himself (Article 51 of the Constitution).

As Dustin told “North. Realiam”, the check could have been provoked by journalists from one of the publications that “fight against Germanization in the region”. He did not specify which edition he was referring to.

• On March 1, residents of the Baltic Spit and tourists held a flash mob to protect the hangars of the old German airfield Neutif. Several dozen people unfurled a poster: "Governor, save the hangars."
• The airfield was built in 1936-1939 for the needs of the Luftwaffe. During the Soviet years, a military unit was placed here. The buildings were bought from the Ministry of Defense by a private individual, and in 2019 one of the hangars began to be dismantled. After a public outcry, the work was stopped. Activists are trying to achieve the status of an object of cultural heritage for the hangars.
