"Victory" stopped all flights - RBC

Lawkoster "Victory", "Daughter" of Aeroflot, stopped all flights, RBC said with reference to three sources in Aeroflot.

On the airline’s website it is impossible to buy tickets not only for foreign flights (they are stopped from today), but also on internal ones: the message “No places” is issued for any dates.

This is the first Russian company that has stopped flights with regular flights.

The press service of Victory confirmed to Vedomosti, which suspended flights from April 1 to May 31 "for the implementation of the authorities to combat the spread of coronavirus."

Like the Lawkoster "Victory" relied on a new unified air park and its maximum intensive use-it has 30 Boeing-737-800, and it reaches 94%. All planes are leased by foreign companies.

Last year, she received 4.9 billion rubles of net profit - a little less than the head of Aeroflot - and transported 10.3 million people, taking the fourth place in Russia on passenger transportation.

Last weekend, Aeroflot markedly reduced prices for Russian directions with departure this spring: flights to St. Petersburg, Sochi, Omsk, Yekaterinburg, Tyumen and other cities are 40-60% lower than in October-November 2019. The reason is the desire to somehow attract passengers and support the flow of money.
