Covid-19 was not created in a test tube, but virologists directly talked about the risk of an epidemic after a virus mutation

Last week, the witty Leonid Kaganov published on his website a moderately consoirological version of the artificial origin of Covid-19.

A brief presentation of the Kaganov version: in 2015, an article appeared in Nature, the famous American virologist Ralph Berik and his colleague from the Uthan Institute of Virology of Shi Zhenli-Lee. The article said that scientists from Northern Carolina and Ujan took the coronavirus of the Chinese bat, non -hazardous for a person, SHC014 (its surface protein), crossed it with dangerous SARS and received a new virus dangerous for humans. They collected it - physically, in a test tube, - coronavirus dangerous to man.

Just at that time, the American government has banned such experiments, and the work ended in Jun. Dr. Shi and subsequently engaged in viruses of bats-pink and, in particular, in 2017 she said that she found in the population of these mice in a cave in Yunnan all the mutations necessary for the emergence of the human epidemic. She - in December 2019 - and made in Jun the first diagnosis of a new infection.

Kaganov’s conclusion: missed, scum.

“We have every reason to assume that a hybrid of dangerous, but clumsy SARS and very flying, but not touching people of coronavirus bat, began to create criminal [bad people] of North Carolina for the sake of scientific interest in order to understand whether such a threat is possible. For the Hollywood script, Kaganov’s version looks just right, but professional biologists reacted to it with skepticism.

Not being, like Kaganov, a biologist (and being, like him, a fantasy writer), I could refer to a fresh one, from March 17, 2020-an article in the same Nature about the natural origin of the Covid-19, or to a more popular (as it seems to him) text, which was written by anxander Panchin, senior researcher at the Institute of Mikhail Gelfand.

“Of course, it is funny that some conspiracy theologists are even surprised by the fact that virologists, purposefully studying coronaviruses, from the largest center studying coronaviruses, opened a new coronavirus.

And who else could find it? " - ironizes Panchin.

But I will refer to the explanation of my good acquaintance Konstantin Chumakov, one of many Russian biologists who left for the United States and made an excellent scientific and administrative career, becoming Deputy Director of the Department for the Development and Research of Vaccines in the FDA (Department of Sannadzor under the US Department of Health).

Every piece of DNA or RNA is, roughly speaking, the text. We still do not know how to rule this text in a multiple. When we are engaged in genetic editing, we simply insert a piece from another DNA into this DNA (or RNA - in case of a virus).

So, if the Covid-19 had an artificial origin, then his piece would look like dad and the other to his mother. And here we are dealing with a text in which some letters are exchanged evenly along its entire length, or, speaking with high calm, "very small nucleotide differences are scattered evenly along the entire length of the genome."

In other words, Sars-Cov2 appeared as a result of evolution due to the gradual accumulation of mutations, and we know its predecessor-this same virus of bats. And this is exactly what the authors of the aforementioned studies warned both in 2015 and in 2017.

“Our work,” they wrote, “warns of the potential risk of a new occurrence of SARS-COV from viruses circulating at the moment in the populations of bats.”

This is what the epidemiologist Michael Osterholm wrote about in 2017 in his book Deadliest Enemy: OUR War AGAINST KILLER GERMS. He also warned that the two previous types of coronavirus, SARS (10% mortality) and Mers (30% mortality), as well as jumping to a person from animals (Mers could only be infected from a camel), this is not the end, but the beginning of a large path.

In other words, the mass of virologists, not fantasy writers, warned: the guys, with this type of coronavirus living in bats-lining, there is a problem. He lies too close. He needs one leap. The virus mutates with a frequency of 1 mutation per week. And coronavirus still has the longest genome among other viruses.

The virologists in this story resemble the heroes of the old joke about Chukchu, who saws the bitches on which he sits. A passerby goes by and says: "You will fall." Chukchi finishes the bitch, falls, rises, and, rubbing the side, says to the passerby: "The sorcerer, however."

It was not necessary to be a sorcerer, but we had to be just a good virologist to know that this would happen.

Was it possible to prevent it? Yes. For example, in 2002, during the SARS outbreak, scientists began to make a vaccine from it, but did not finish it - SARS ended, and it costs to finish the vaccine several billion dollars.

The vaccine did not have a commercial prospect, the state did not give money. If the vaccine was ready, it would be relatively simple to finish it under the Covid-19.

I am sure that most of my readers (like me) first heard that for several years the virologists warned about the possibility of a new coronavirus epidemic, and even said where the new coronavirus would come from: from bats.

Why didn’t you hear warnings?

Very simple: because they drowned in a white noise from other catastrophic forecasts.

Dank of completely different fakes are dangerous: those who distribute experts in order to raise their own status. These fakes are made much more professional, and it is precise to fight them precisely that experts are interested in their distribution.

Who does not remember the problem of 2000, when all the IT specialists with a smart look demanded from us to buy new computers so that the old ones would not beg at 00 hours 00 minutes 2000? Nothing was bored with anyone.

And global warming, which is not promoted by freaks at all, but on the contrary, leading climatologists, “the largest and most successful pseudo -scientific fraud that I saw throughout my long life as a scientist,” according to the famous physicist Harold Lewis, or, even shorter, “pseudo -ass”, according to the Nobel Laureate in Physics of Ivar Giver?

Imagine that bureaucrats from WHO would warn us about coronavirus. But how could the bureaucrats from WHO be believed after they all the ears have buzzed that the world will now amaze Ebola, which, for a minute, is not transmitted by airborne droplets? (Translated - so as not to get Ebola, it’s enough not to eat other people's pools).

How can you believe in a WHO when in its ranking Italy (where people die from coronavirus hundreds every day) stands in 2nd place in terms of health care, and the United States - by 37? How can we believe the WHO even now, when it gives us the amount of mortality from coronavirus at 3.4%, while in Germany with its well -developed testing, mortality is 0.4%?

Even now, during the Epimedia of Coronavirus, we see how the concept of an expert is devaluable before our eyes.

Prof. Neil Ferguson, for example, claims that without total quarantine for 18 months in the United States, 2.2 million people will die, and in the UK - 500 thousand.

And epidemiologists from Oxford claim that 50% of the population of Britain is already infected with coronavirus, and, therefore, most of them have already acquired immunity.

Not being a virologist, I can’t say which of the two highly highly acquired experts of the rights. But as a Fake-Nuus recognition specialist, I am entitled to suspect that either Dr. Ferguson is injecting horror, or, conversely, oxford epidemiologists draw a too rainbow picture.

When unprofessional conspiracy theologists tell us that the Covid-19 was made in the laboratory, the fake is easy to expose. But what if the fake is designed by an expert?

The warnings of Michael Osterholm, Ralph Berik and Shi Zhengley drowned in the white noise of the warnings of other experts promising us global warming, floods, hunger and lack of water.

And, unfortunately, nothing can be done here. It is impossible to recommend creating some “expert council in the upcoming dangers” at the UN, because in such an expert advice the weak voices of real scientists will drown in the choir of wrestlers with capitalism.

An amazing thing: from a purely scientific point of view, humanity has grown to predict and soften many catastrophes waiting for it. However, given how many professional scarecrows parasitizes on the high status, which science has in the current society, we cannot use this.
