The restrictions imposed by the Moscow authorities as part of the fight against coronavirus have been extended until May 1. Mayor Sergei Sobyanin wrote about this in his blog.
The mayor also noted that so far passes for movement around the city will not be introduced. “The experience of the first non-working week showed that so far there is no such need. Most residents of the city faithfully comply with the requirement to stay at home,” the mayor said.
At the same time, Sobyanin stressed that the authorities could return to the issue of introducing passes if the epidemiological situation worsens or if citizens often begin to violate the regime of self-isolation.
