In Severodvinsk, protocols were drawn up for violating self-isolation against participants in the “environmental indefinite period”

In Severodvinsk (Arkhangelsk region), environmental activists who held an indefinite protest on Victory Square were issued protocols “due to violation of the self-isolation regime.” Participants of the action Nina Trofimova and Ella Adomantseva reported this to the OVD-Info hotline.

Eco-activists said they were standing at the monument to Lenin on Victory Square in bright vests with the words “No garbage in” when they were approached by police. Law enforcement officers drew up protocols against the participants of the indefinite eco-protest, allegedly because of the violation of the decree of the governor of the Arkhangelsk region on self-isolation. The police also threatened to detain the activists if they did not leave the square soon.

• At the Shies station of the Arkhangelsk region, they are going to build a landfill for the import of garbage from Moscow into the region. It is planned that it will cover an area of ​​3,000 hectares. Local residents believe that the operation of the landfill will lead to an environmental disaster.
