Novgorod: members of the "Alliance of Doctors" were detained during the transportation of protective equipment for doctors

In the Okulovsky district of the Novgorod region on April 2, traffic police officers stopped the Alliance of Doctors Trade Union. They were accused of violating the self -isolation regime. This was reported to the North. Realiy said the chairman of the Novgorod branch of the "Alliance of Doctors" Dmitry Sokolov.

Three cars and a minibus entered the Novgorod region. They brought personal protectors for medical workers of several Novgorod hospitals and clinics: masks, gloves, protective costumes, glasses and disinfection.

“They called me, I“ blew up ”and went to take a humanitarian from them. They won’t let them go to the hospital. I also wanted to go [the head of the surgical department of the Okulovskaya Central District Hospital] Yuri Korovin, but he was not allowed to go from work. Although, according to the instructions without personal protective equipment, he may not go to work,” Sokolov said.

The spokesman for the "Alliance of Doctors" Ivan Konovalov, participating in the trip, said that the police evacuated the car of the Chairman of the Trade Union Anastasia Vasilyeva and is going to draw up protocols under Article 20.6.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (failure to fulfill the rules of behavior in an emergency or a threat of its occurrence) for 13 people-members of the trade union and journalists.

“The fact is that we have all legal procedures. According to the law in the Novgorod region, there is a governor’s decree that all passengers of nonresident vehicles should have certificates that they are going here to work. We have such certificates. The policeman read them, said that yes - everything is in the decree, but it seems to me that it should not be passed further,” said Ivan Konovalov.

After Okulovka, members of the "Alliance of Doctors" were going to leave for Veliky Novgorod and Starorussky district. Now the further plans are threatened with a breakdown, the press secretary of the trade union said.

The press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia confirmed the stop of four cars on the federal highway M-11. Other comments in the department promised to give later.

Earlier, Dmitry Sokolov, citing members of the primary organization of the "Alliance of Doctors" with the village of Paul Parfinsky district, reported that the leadership of the Old Russian ambulance station allegedly verbally ordered not to accept personal protective equipment against the trade union. The Ministry of Health of the Novgorod Region could not comment on this information, asking to send an official request.

The Chairman of the Trade Union was called to the Investigative Committee for interrogation to check on the distribution of fakes on coronavirus.
