Vasiliev’s father arrived in St. Petersburg from Kazakhstan on March 14, but two weeks later he was detained by employees of Rospotrebnadzor when he came for documents at the MFC.

On the same day, Vladimir Vasiliev filed a complaint with Rospotrebnadzor against the unlawful imprisonment of his father. Another illegally detained citizen-64-year-old Mikhail Krylov-submitted applications to the prosecutor’s office, and also announced a hunger strike. He also came to Zarya from the MFC.

"On March 28, my wife wrote an appeal to the prosecutor’s office, with accusations on the head doctor of Dawn and Rospotrebnadzor under the article on exceeding official powers.
