The authorities of the Republic of Chechnya decided to introduce a curfew in connection with the coronavirus epidemic. The head of the region, Ramzan Kadyrov, announced this in his Telegram channel.
The curfew is set from 20:00 to 08:00 and will take effect on April 3. After eight in the evening, the movement of citizens on foot and in cars is prohibited. Some emergency services and organizations will be given the right to travel at night. From April 5 entry into Chechnya of all types of transport, as well as citizens, is closed. An exception will be made for persons engaged in the delivery of food, medicine and other vital goods.
“Residents of Chechnya planning to return from other regions are recommended to do so before April 5. From this date they will not be able to enter through the administrative border. curb Coronavirus is impossible with half-hearted measures. It is important to break the chain of distribution,” Kadyrov said.

Currently, 36 positive results for coronavirus using the test system have been identified in the republic, ten of them have received laboratory confirmation. One patient is in serious condition, another 861 people are in quarantine.
Over the past 24 hours, 601 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Russia in 32 regions, and four people have died. For the first time, diagnoses were made in Ingushetia and the Jewish Autonomous Region. In total, 4,149 cases of coronavirus have been registered in Russia in 78 regions, of which 2,923 are in Moscow.
