Between the Kolpachkaya and Khokhlovsky lanes in the Basmann region, the deforestation of unique trees is being prepared.

These trees are the soul of the Ivanovo hill. They saw how people and times have changed for centuries. For each you can and should be hanged by a sign: "The property of the capital, guarded by the mayor!"

Judging by the archival data, the park nature of landscaping has been preserved here, at least since 1802. Here a sedge-groove is growing-a tree, with a circumference of a barrel of about six meters. According to the conclusion of the Alexi Burakov, a defrologist with more than 25 years of experience, the tree is in perfect condition.

Alley (it is called Danilovskaya) - in the very heart of the last untouched historical region of the old Moscow, in the territory of the united security zone of cultural heritage, where any work, except for regeneration of the historical environment, is directly prohibited by law.

The trees of the alleys form the environment of outstanding architectural monuments-the temple of the Life-Giving Trinity in Hokhlah, the House of Mazepa, the Ukrainian Chambers, the estate of Jurgenson and the Chetverikov-Knopa. The alley has memorial value, it is associated with the names of M.K. Mamardashvili, G.P. Shchedrovitsky, Yu.A. Levada and other figures of domestic philosophy and social science who worked at the Institute of International Labor Movement (Colling 9A).

The official reason for the cutting is the “landscaping” located in the alley of the playground. But these trees are more important than any improvement. Children embrace the trunks to rejoice at their "non -prosperity." The site in the green zone is valuable precisely what is located among the trees. There are history and the future, so why improve the comfortable and cut a growing one?

The “Housingman” has already sent a request for a drill ticket, already marked the trunks with red crosses: all in order to still under quarantine, while the majority in self -isolation, master the budget of improvement. But these trees stood here with our grandfathers, they should stand here with children of our children.

Sergey Semenovich, please stop the barbaric arbitrariness.
