In the world, gasoline fell after oil, in Russia its price is unchanged. Stability is our scraping and priority. And it seems that the Ministry of Energy reaction to stuffing about the possible legal appearance in the domestic market of foreign fuel: even taking into account all transport and administrative expenses, it, they say, would be more attractive in the price of domestic, and much.
According to RBC, referring to three federal officials and one of the participants in the fuel market, the Cabinet will protect us from imported cheap gasoline and diesel. The authorities simply will not let him into the country, introducing the embargo. So far, this measure, argued by the protection of domestic oil refineries, is planned from April to September.
There is no news that the Russian state is taken to protect at the expense of consumers (Russian people) the internal “market” from overstocking and large capital with its refineries (oil refineries) from world conjuncture and trends.
Like not news and the fact that the government is given to us so that life does not seem like honey. The news is only, perhaps, in ministerial forecasts - until September, the price of oil will not increase. However, it is clear that the government is trying to surprise us. And it is not someone else's, and let's be surprised. For all textbooks, reducing costs (due to the reduction of gasoline) could push production, become a real incentive to an increase in activity.
Since this is not necessary, the tasks for the authorities are obviously others.
Perhaps the syndrome of the besieged fortress penetrated the leading brains too deep, and this is reflected at the reflex level, at the most elementary actions in the economy. Perhaps this is another economy - military. Gasoline now abroad of our Motherland is really cheaper than our native, but to imagine that we will let someone into our oil and gas homeland with this cheap liquid? What will someone come to our Tula with their gingerbread?
There was the experience of the 90s, when Korean gasoline was imported into the Far Eastern regions, high-quality and cheap, but this bench was covered quickly. Probably, now, despite the anecdotal of the situation, some semi-domestic deliveries from the Belarusian refinery in the Border region could have developed. However, nothing to be of this, therefore there is nothing to reason.
The question is one in reality. He is in Russia from the category of eternal. Why, when oil falls in price, gasoline continues to rise in price?
On the one hand, the riddles should remain in the world. And on the other, really, why cannot Russian oil industry workers reduce the price following the whole world? In RBC, this reason is formulated gracefully: "Due to the features of regulation." To call vices (that people, that states) “features” are quite in the spirit of political correct modernity. We can talk about the “existing pricing system” that it does not allow gasoline to cheaper, it is possible to pay “according to the damping mechanism” (that is, the agreements to smooth out prices: either the oil workers pay extra to the state, then it does not hesitate to them), but the essence is unchanged, and this is what.
The price of gasoline is the price of almost everything that we consume as physical entities.
Gasoline is a significant share in the cost of satisfying primary instincts and sending natural needs (food, migration, construction, light, current). Our momentary story is generally unknown when it began - either forty or four hundred million years ago, depending on what to count from the origin of a person or oil. And now, in fact, it is not clear what was more important in this ending story - a person or oil.
The price of gasoline today is steering to almost everyone, but in Russia the share of the price of oil itself in the price of gasoline is not so large, in different years differently. Four percent, six, or even seven. The price of oil is by no means a defining factor. In Russia, the price of gasoline dictates the orders and appetites of the state. From 70% - taxes, excise taxes. Therefore, we have so much gasoline, and there can be no other numbers. The market, demand, a decline in demand due to coronavirus, Saudis, Trump and shales-it does not matter. Only the budget and state employees, the Russian official and his plans for us and our children are significant here.
And the officials are free to say anything. To carry any nonsense like they save the market from overstocking and protect the interests of Russian refineries. Yeah, those will go bankrupt, go bankrupt. This is basically impossible. Yes, if you went bankrupt - what's wrong with that? There are no other “businessmen” who could start to raise the price of gasoline at the slightest restoration of oil prices now? Where are the refinery themselves, in principle, go?
If this is a loss, then whose? Obviously, if there were a market, a European gas station would bent Sechin with all his Rosneft. They, of course, are sorry for them, of course, but this is only an economy, no more.
