Two protesters in Ingushetia were released from pre-trial detention center

The protesters in Ingushetia, Bagaudin Myakiev and Ruslan Dzeytov, have had their sentence changed to a written undertaking not to leave. Fortanga reports.

Myakiev was summoned to court to consider an appeal against the verdict, but the judge said that the issue of changing the measure of restraint would be considered and ordered the convicted person not to leave.

As Dzeitov's lawyer, Visit Tsoroev, told the publication, taking into account the recalculation of the period of detention, his client "served the entire term of punishment a month ago."

However, the court that sentenced Dzeytov left the preventive measure unchanged until the verdict came into force, and the verdict has not yet entered into force due to an appeal.

“The court may take a long time to consider an appeal against this verdict, which would lead to the fact that Dzeitov could sit out for six months,” Tsoroev said.
