Novgorod: SK is looking for the author "fake" about the outbreak of coronavirus in the colony

The Investigative Committee in the Novgorod region began to verify the dissemination of information about the outbreak of coronavirus in a colony in the village of Topokok, according to the website of the department.

SK believes that the data of one of the publications that 30 people fell ill with a coronavirus infection in the colony does not correspond to reality. The publication does not give the name.

The Office of the Federal Penitentiary Service for the Novgorod Region reported that among employees, as well as suspects, accused and convicted people, no case of the disease was discovered.

In Russia, at least three criminal cases of fakes about coronavirus have been instituted. In St. Petersburg, two local residents were interrogated , including 39-year-old activist Anna Shushpanova.
