The Ministry of Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation is very actively using Telegram - despite the fact that Roskomnadzor’s subordinate to him has been blocking the Pavel Durov messenger in Russia for a year now (unsuccessfully).
For example, now through Telegram the department is associated with the Russians stuck abroad due to the pandemic of coronavirus, and coordinates the work to return to their homeland.
For this, several telegram channels have been created : for organizing flights to Moscow from Antalya, Bangkok, Goa, Tokyo and so on. As the Russian BBC Service wrote , the Minister of Communications Maksut Shadaev even talked with users in Telegram and formed lists of citizens to return from Phuket.
On April 11, the ministry announced on Twitter that another common telegram channel was being made, where he would collect information about all export flights for Russian citizens. He was called @vezemdomoy_covid19. And users, of course, could not pass by such a name that can be read as “We are taking home Covid-19”.

Under the tweet, the ministry began to joke in the spirit:
As a result, the next day the Ministry of Communications simply deleted the tweet, and the channel renamed the @vezemdomoy_rf . Now almost five thousand people have been signed for him. Russians who need to return to their homeland can really find relevant information on flights there.
