We endlessly criticize the Russian authorities, and, of course, for the matter. And yet it is now useful to think about who (not) remains at home. On whom now the future of the country, the number of victims of the epidemic and the prospects for the restoration of society and civil freedoms after its end depends on it. No government can cope with this task: the fight against the epidemic depends on the will of tens of millions of people and their personal responsibility.
In addition, the suspicion is growing that not all representatives of the Russian political elite are interested in ensuring that we return to normal life behind the quarantine horizon. An anecdote walks on the network about how the director of the FSB and the Prime Minister are found at a meeting of the Security Council, and the person in uniform says: “We immediately need military patrols, waterflies, armored cars, hard acceleration of protesters, curfew!” The official asks: "Do you think this will help us defeat Coronavirus?"
- "What coronavirus?" - the serving is amazed.
If you are an optimist, you can hope for the state, but first in any case, you should think about what lies in our area of responsibility. Firstly, we may not have to endanger ourselves and other people, as well as enable doctors to do their job. For this, it is important that we all do not have pneumonia at the same time - otherwise the healthcare system will be paralyzed, which will provoke a collapse of the entire social infrastructure. Most of the governments of the world in countries with a difficult epidemiological situation have chosen today the scenario of self -isolation of citizens. In democratic countries, these emergency measures are based on the mutual trust of citizens and elected politicians, courts and independent media. In attempts to act reasonably in the same circumstances, Russian citizens can rely only on themselves.
Secondly, you should seriously take care of staying during self-isolation in good form-physical and primarily emotional. Sociologists around the world record the growth of cases of family violence and increased alcohol consumption: these are people sitting locked up, have lost their usual rhythm of life and try to drown out the alarm. The temptation to follow the simplest scenario now has everyone.
Thirdly, in the coming months, many of us will be difficult to fulfill obligations to loved ones. Many will lose their jobs, others will face a further decrease in income level, which rarely stayed with us since 2014. This is not the first time to deal with such trials for the first time, Vladimir Putin was not mistaken here, but we can definitely observe the social crisis of this scale on the air for the first time and in the mind - through numerous “reports” of other people on social networks.
From this fascinating show (who does not like the post -apocalypse genre?) We will have to learn to be distracted to return to those people who need us.
Finally, crises always carry a chance for an updated future. You should not guess about the "collapse of the regime", predicted by the opposition twenty years ago. It is better to recall how, after a flood in Krymsk, in 2012, a powerful and modern movement of volunteer volunteers appeared in Russia, now, in particular, the Foundation “Need help”. Then they talked a lot about the fact that when the state is inactive, people take responsibility. Russia after quarantine is our new chance for civil solidarity.
