In Moscow, a group of people were fined for the first time due to violation of self-isolation

In Moscow, for the first time, a company of people who violated the self-isolation regime was fined, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the press service of the Solntsevsky District Court.

Three residents of Moscow were detained "near the same building at the same time," the agency writes. The two detainees had the same last name, but the court did not confirm that they were relatives.

All three were fined 15 thousand rubles each under the administrative article on the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population in the event of a threat of the spread of a dangerous disease (part 2 of article 6.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation).

Previously, as the agency notes, only "single violators" were fined.

• In total, on April 13, Moscow courts fined eight people under a similar article of the Code of Administrative Offenses, RIA Novosti was told in the Moscow City Court. Everyone was given a minimum fine of 15,000 rubles (the maximum is 40,000 rubles).
• In all cases, “people moved more than 100 meters away from their homes unnecessarily” and “ignored the explanations of police officers about the need to comply with the self-isolation regime,” the agency writes.
• Since April 2, the Administrative Code of Moscow has article 3.18.1 - violation of the requirements of the high alert regime, including the requirement of self-isolation. The fine for it is four thousand rubles, the Moscow police can use it from April 8.
