From the editorial office
My classmate lost his job exactly at the moment when the government increased his retirement term by two years. Contrary to the vigorous statements of television commentators, getting settled in the specialty at this stage of “survival” (according to the terminology of the PFR specialists) was unrealistic. All his life, Andrei is an absolutely independent person who is not used to asking for help from the state, nor from the authorities, nor from his own children. I did not receive a single ruble in life from the budget sphere. And so, in order to reach the experience to retirement, he became a postman at sixty years old. He works in Moscow, during the coronavirus epidemic carries increased risks and does not complain. I believe that the details of his stories about postmen in quarantine Moscow may be interested in the leadership of the Russian Post and Sberbank. Understanding official circumstances, we do not call the number of his branch and the surname, which, of course, are available in the editorial office.

- On the day I pass sometimes twelve kilometers. The authorities believe that I have to walk five to six kilometers a day (the interval for one entrance is two minutes), but it does not work out. Because in addition to horizontal ones, there are vertical parts of the route: mailboxes often hang on floors.
There is delivery of registered departments, print separately. On the route the postman to the postman is different: the conditions are not the same. The work begins at 6.30 in the morning - we sort our delivery. At about eight we go to the route, deliver newspapers and periodic in general. Then I return to the site and proceed to a variety of custom correspondence.
Since I am an adult and big man, I try to carry everything on myself for the sake of optimizing logistics. My bag weighs 20 kilograms. This bag with one shit belt over the shoulder is quite unsuccessful.
Premier women do not use them at all. They are almost all elderly, such a bag will easily ditch their spine. Our women cannot physically carry a lot and run around the sites with carts on wheels, but they take at a time less than me, they have to return to the department several times. That is, they run more men.
On my site is literally a couple of residential buildings, but many offices and establishments. However, all legal entities receive correspondence in the set, and the load in such conditions is no less. We all try to finish until 15.00, no one uses lunch break.
Now, during the epidemic, the postmen have been charged with the delivery of small parcels and custom letters directly to the apartment.
This is a plus to the main duties without any surcharge.

Therefore, we return to the department again, we load these bags, boxes and, cursing, again go on the route. If a small Chinese package allows, we are trying to push into the mailbox, but no, go to the apartment. There are parcels with the declared cost, even tiny can only be given to the hands.
We carry money, of course. The Russian Post is the largest benefactor in the country. Pensioners who have decided through us to receive a pension, they are extremely rare to start a card of our industry bank. Part goes to the mail themselves who cannot be physically present - makes delivery to the house.
In the conditions of coronavirus, travel documents were turned off all over 65 years old, and they are now forbidden to go out into the street. So from the 3rd to the 14th number of each month we carry everyone to the house. We scatter in the day, I am indamilating from four to eight pensions a day.
Although the days of such delivery are unknown to criminals, according to the instructions for the issuance of pensions, we must be released in two. But the line on the street is not worth it, the departments have a constant shortage of personnel. With such an uncomplex, we walk one by one.
Any Muscovite sees that the vast majority of postmen are women. For the most part, they are retirement age or those who unexpectedly increased this age with recent decisions of the authorities. At the same time, they get all for 27,000 rubles, there are no allowances.
Saturday is a full -fledged working day, a day off only on Sunday. Who is stronger, serve additional areas, but the surcharge for combining by law cannot be higher than a quarter of the salary.
If I work for the absent colleague, they can’t even give me a half -time from above.
When Koronavirus came, the Russian Post management declared that 70 rubles would pay for every home delivery to the house. Please note: in Moscow, couriers of commercial delivery services have not taken less than 200 rubles for a long time, today a dachshund of 350 rubles is becoming the norm. And there are now a lot of people who want to receive such delivery from the Russian Post.

Until now, this surcharge of 70 rubles has not really been sold. The focus is that, by law, by the law, the recipient personally into his hands without any surcharges is obliged to bring the entire ordered correspondence. Try it, refuse delivery - what will they tell you? They just poke his nose in the service instruction, where it is written exactly.
The lion's share of custom correspondence is fines. Formally, I also have to hand them in my hands. But this is impossible to implement, all post offices are limited to the statement of notifications for receipt and laid out in mailboxes.
People who come for their receipts for a penalty by mail are a meager number. Almost everyone receives notifications and pay them electronically through public services, traffic police and banks. In the total volume of delivery, fines are 60–70%.
That is, we wear these pieces of paper completely in vain, and no one thought how much money it spends on beautiful envelopes, which, not in demand by anyone, are lying in the departments. In envelopes, and they are really heavy, accounts come for all services. Here I can’t even use a bag-I take a cart and scatter the entire load for three to four days.
More about pensioners. It happens that the old people themselves can still open the door to you and sign for the money. Often they open nurses, assistants, and the pensioner is not able to get out of the bed. And a very bad situation has developed with Sberbank clients who are used to receiving pensions in their branches.
The old people from this category themselves are already turning to us with requests to transfer to the receipt of Russia to the Russian Post, but we are not able to help them. Such pensioners have never had cards, money still comes to them for savings books. Sberbank cannot send his employee to take a pension to his grandmother, they never had such structures.
Now these old men realized that something needs to be done: the quarantine week takes place after a week, but there is still no pension. Many lonely who always went to the Bank branch themselves. Today they even have a power of attorney to write out on.
Yes, and for the rest to invite a notary to the house, it costs money, in Moscow - at least 5,000 rubles. At the post office, applying for a power of attorney to receive a pension of cash for a relative or a loved one is not difficult - enough participation of the head of the department. They are issued for a long period - and the notary is not needed.
There was an offer to receive money through volunteers and social services, but not all elderly people are ready. They have known their postman for years and are not afraid, they can see it in the door and sometimes even find out by their voice.

Volunteers not only have no serious documents - they also change regularly.
There is a considerable category of pensioners who always walked to the department of Sberbank. That is why Gref ordered to open the departments again, regardless of quarantine. Now they were disconnected by travel documents, and there are already cases when the police delay them on the way to the bank.
Such customers are used to taking money convenient for them, leaving the rest on the book. That is, Sberbank must also agree with them the amount to receive, and who will do it there? They must also call them, the bank is simply not ready for this. We are now in the third week of the self -isolation regime in Moscow, there is no longer money.
Believe me, the next week for such old people is critical.
The postmen - and the elderly people themselves with a full set of age -related sores - are today on the tip of the situation. Protective products, masks and gloves are allocated in Moscow. But most of us are with glasses that sweat under masks.
My colleagues risk health not in a figurative sense. They walk along the porches, where officially installed patients with a virus live in self -isolation.
I have such a recipient with a mild course of the disease on the site.
The other day I took him the parcel. The wife screams from the door: "Leave, we are sick, we will infect you!" I ask: "Will you receive the parcel?" After a pause: “We will ...” Then they threw a box through the door ajar, in a filled notice, wrapped a bolt - the sheet could not fly the threshold.
In such conditions, wearing people pensions is sacred. But to carry on such entrances to no one needed penalties - this is madness.
Why are people forced to take risks? For the notifications of fines?
If the mail could throw an envelope into the box with the receipt itself, this could still be understood. But by law, we cannot hand them away. The current practice in coronavirus is an additional load and risk to postmen. Thank God that the free dull advertising of perfumes and beauty salons, which we also had to throw into the drawers, finally disappeared from our bags.
I would limit the postman during quarantine with the delivery of printing, personal correspondence, accounts, pensions and especially important premises, for example with medicines. After all, the overwhelming part of the parcels in our bags today is Alibaba delivery of any hair hairpins and protective glasses for phones. All these people must take themselves in the mail, especially since the shelf life of such parcels specially extended to two months. Work for very little money and without it becomes heavier and harder.
