Reimond Carver. "Maybe you will dance"

- This is one of the most important texts of the project for me. Firstly, because the Carver is the champion in the competition "Say everything, without saying anything." (Here it is impossible not to note the role of his editor Gordon Lish, in general, their union is a brilliant evidence of the possibility of joint writers-editorial creativity.))

And secondly, in the main ones, because Reimond Carver managed to show the world as far from all media. A world in which there is fundamentally nothing, which at least in some approximation could be shown on television and is generally recognized as worthy of public attention. Life is gray, people are frightened, weak, unarticulated and strange. And it is precisely such a carver with intense attention is examined through the magnifying glass of enormous force. Their attachment of their failures, their unfulfilled dreams, “replicas and tirads ... silence and hints”, stupid memories, streams of female complaints.

Because in fact there is nothing more important.
