The Financial University under the Government of Russia has canceled state exams, according to the university’s website.
The cancellation of exams will not affect students at the Faculty of Law. The remaining students will be awarded diplomas based on the results of defending their final qualifying thesis.
As the university clarified, the academic council of the university made this decision after the proposal of the rector Mikhail Eskindarov.
Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov said on April 9 that state exams and diploma defenses will not be canceled in Russia, since they can be conducted online.
