Mishustin lifted restrictions on the sale of masks and respirators

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin lifted restrictions on the sale of protective equipment against coronavirus, Vademecum and RBC report , citing sources.

A RIA Novosti source familiar with the Cabinet resolution said that the government took such a step to avoid disruptions in the industry.

A week earlier, the head of government allowed the wholesale trade of medical masks, respirators, gloves, protective suits and gauze only to a subsidiary of Rostec. The same document limited the markup on protective equipment and prohibited their retail sale outside pharmacies.

The effect of that resolution was suspended, for how long it was not specified. Initially, the restrictions were introduced for 90 days.
