- “Rango” is a song from our new album “Deliriy”, which in spite of everything comes out on all the digital sites of the galaxy on April 24. Vinil's presentation was scheduled for the 18th. We transferred it - for an indefinite period, as everything is now transferred.
The glass of Zyuzino, where Prokhor and I worked as art director and mass-paces, are closed, like the whole catering in Moscow. The point is not that we were left without work without concerts. The place that we all love is idle, a lot of labor and love is invested there. And now it is like an abandoned atomic reactor. Wildly sad and very sorry. It remains only to believe that this is not forever.
And about the song. It was written under the impression of the cult cartoon Mount Verbinski. The protagonist, Chameleon Rango, says in the voice of Johnny Depp there. The phrase “where the dust comes from and where the money goes”, which sounds in the first and last verses, not mine, folk. I heard her many years ago, and I still can’t understand:
But really, where and where?

The album is about love, in every sense of this multifaceted word. There is a thing that is called - "I love." I myself did not expect such emotions from myself in the 47th year of life. There is a song “Black Black Shadows”, the guitarist Kristof Hahn from the American group Swans played on it. There is an alcoholic theme, without it in any way. The main hit is “Respect the drunk!”, The ironic song about a good attitude to alcoholics. And this is an album, in which, unlike our previous works, there is not a word mat. Why I don't know, it happened. They cost in other words.
In the light of the last gloomy events, someone remembered our old song “The End of the World”. Someone-how we sang about the first of May with coffins. But this is all earlier, and now that the zombie apocalypse has really come, it's time to talk about love. Only she keeps us afloat.
