The reason was the publication in one of the regional publics in Odnoklassniki, where the situation with coronavirus in the region was presented "in a negative way." “The publication of these materials indicates the distribution of materials of a daily report among persons who are not part of the regional operational headquarters and have no relation to it,” the authors of the report concluded. According to the results of the meeting, the administration of domestic policy was instructed to "prepare and implement a set of response measures to this and similar publications."

Although the salon is now related to the family of the head of the region: the name Eland itself resembles an acronym from the names of the three daughters of Morozov - Elina, Anfisa and Daria, although on the site of the salon its owner claims that the name comes from the name of the island of Eland.
