An Irkutsk family was threatened because of a child allegedly sick with COVID-19. Local authorities announced that he was in fact healthy, but the doctors were mistaken

A family from the city of Ust-Kut in the Irkutsk region, who returned from Thailand, was threatened after doctors announced that a seven-year-old child had a coronavirus. Later it turned out that the child is actually healthy, Mediazona writes.

Threats and insults against a woman with two children were published on social networks, and their address and other personal data were posted in the city group on Viber, the publication clarifies.

on April 16 The head of the Ust-Kutsk region, Tamara Klimina, announced that the child was actually healthy: “The tests taken repeatedly from the whole family came with a negative result. I hope you will not blame me for the fact that somewhere in the medical institution there was a mistake.
