
The head of Karelia, Arthur Parfyonchikov signed a decree by which entry into the republic from several regions will be possible only through the checkpoint. He wrote about this in VKontakte.
The checkpoint will appear on April 22 on the borders of the republic with the Arkhangelsk, Vologda and Leningrad regions:
-on 155 kilometers of the A-121 "Sortavala" road;
-on the 270 kilometer of the R-21 "Cola" road;
-on the 45 kilometer of the A-215 Road Road-Vytegra-Prokshino-Brin-Navok, access to Petrozavodsk;
-on 394 kilometers of the A-119 Vologda-Medvezhyegorsk-Road Road Roads;
- On 354 kilometers of the Dolmatovo -Nyandom - Kargopol -Pudozh road.
On other roads on which you can bypass the checkpoint, traffic will be stopped. At the posts there will be police and employees of the National Guard. Everyone who will enter Karelia will be warned of administrative and criminal liability for non -compliance with the regime of increased readiness. The arrivals will be required to fill out the questionnaire and indicate the passport data and their contacts.
Prior to this, Parfyonchikov closed the entrance to four cities of Karelia: to Kostomuksha - from April 19, Pitkiaranta - from April 20, in Kondopoga and Segezh - from April 21.
In the republic, 15 cases of infection with coronavirus are confirmed, in two more people are suspected.
