The Novgorod District Court was forcibly evicted from the local veterans house his last resident Janin Nikolaev, who refused to leave the institution. The decision is discussed on the court website.
The court considered a change in the terms of the contract between the house of veterans and Nikolaeva. It provides for "termination of the right to use and eviction." According to the court, Nikolaev did not come to the meeting, although she was notified of him. She filed an application for delaying the case, because due to the coronavirus epidemic is at home on self-isolation.
The publication of the court indicates that the high -readiness regime, which was introduced in the Novgorod region, "does not apply to citizens participating in court hearings as a plaintiff or defendant." The court considered that the reason that Yakovlev brought was disrespectful. He examined the case without the participation of the parties, single -handedly.
The judge satisfied the lawsuit of the house of veterans, and Yanina Nikolaev will be evicted from the institution in Novgorod and transferred to the village of Shimsk in the region.
The representative of the Yabloko party in the region Anna Cherepanova, who helped Nikolaeva in court, wrote that the decision would be appealed.
"The court deprived a person’s right to a home and threw an elderly person at the height of the coronavirus epidemic to the street. We consider this decision politically motivated," she wrote .
Cherepanova clarified that the governor’s decree, in which the exclusion from the self -isolation regime is made for plaintiffs and defendants in the courts, appeared on the evening of the day before the meeting in the case of Nikolaeva.
At the end of December 2019, the authorities of the Novgorod region decided to resettle the only nursing house in the regional center. Pensioners were distributed to the village of Shimsk and the village of Gratskoye. The authorities want to demolish the current building and build a new one in its place. The guests of the house of veterans were against moving to remote villages. They are sure that in the areas there are no conditions for quality medical care. Earlier, the court in Novgorod refused to evict Yanin Nikolaev from the house of veterans.
