Ramt's day on the website of "Novaya Gazeta"

We continue the weekly Saturday shows of Ramt's performances on the Novaya Gazeta website - today we publish the production of one of the most mystical and grotesque works of N.V. Gogol - the story “Portrait”. Fantasy for the dramatic artist, Goboy and the orchestra was composed by director Alexei Borodin and artist Stanislav Benedictov. There are two solo on the stage: one of the leading actors of Ramt, People's Artist of Russia Yevgeny Redko and the Golden Goboy of Russia Alexei Utkin, as well as the Hermitage soloist ensemble.

The music of Teleman, Britten, Strauss and Marcello enters into dialogue with the ingenious Gogol text, which sounds almost entirely (without bills), all as it is - eternal and forever relevant. Goboy and ten strings - violins, altas, cello and smuggling - help to express the struggle of darkness and light.

The fantastic story of one transformation. What caused him - the weakness of a person before temptations or mystical witchcraft? Can talent kill a person? What happens to a person when the desire and thirst for creativity replaces the desire for everyday pleasures, well -being, glory and wealth?
