Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree that allows all labor migrants with an expiring validity of documents to remain and work unhindered and work in the country from March 15 to June 15.

According to the document, foreigners will be able to remain in Russia without paying for a patent , extension of a visa, a residence permit and other documents necessary to resolve employment. Within three months, the terms of their stay in the country will not be taken into account. Putin also extended the expiration of passports and driver’s licenses.

The Russian Federation of Russia posted a video message from the head of the organization Vadim Kozhenov, who explained in detail the meaning of the decree. “If you were legal on March 15 in Russia, then for you the next day after March 15 is June 16. These three months are suspended. All this time you do not need to pay for a patent, you do not need to extend registration, ”he explained.

In early April, the Federation turned to the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin with a request for a period of quarantine measures to free migrants from the need to pay for a patent. Due to the extension of the non-working period, many people lost their earnings and could not pay for the extension of the patent.
