The editorial office of Novaya Gazeta received a letter from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation with the comment of information published in the article “Quarantinists”, published on April 8, 2020. In his letter, the military department indicates that in the preparation of the material, “various and unverified sources” were used, as well as information, “which was previously refuted officially”.
Despite the fact that the material on April 8 uses official statements by the press service of the Central Military District and the response of the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation to the request of Novaya Gazeta in the form of a report by the head of the Military Education Department of the Major General Igor Muralyannikov from the selector meeting on April 7, it can be assumed that in a letter received on April 15, we are talking about on April 15, we are talking about on April 15, we are talking about That part of the text, which tells about the situation in the Perm Suvorov Military School.
It should be noted that a message confirming the absence of coronavirus in any of the employees and cadets of PSVU appeared on April 10, that is, two days after the publication of the material in Novaya Gazeta. In addition, in the text “Quarantinists”, the interlocutor’s quote is given to the Ministry of Defense, almost completely repeating one of the paragraphs of the later letter received, where quarantine measures taken in educational institutions are also explained by the fact that children are registered in different remote regions of the country.
Thus, we believe that the text indicates all the possible aspects of the current problem, but nevertheless, at the request of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, we publish completely the text of the letter received to the editorial office and are ready for further cooperation.
